ALM3 The ALM3 series of 1310nm DFB laser modules are designed specifically for use in the transmission of broadband analog signals. Their high linearity makes them especially suitable for CATV broad- and narrowcast applications. All critical components, including optical isolator, TEC, thermistor, laser, and monitor photodiode are hermetically sealed in an industry standard butterfly package. Available in output powers from 6-15 dBm
ALM5 AGx’s ALM5 family consists of Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) lasers for CATV forward path applications. They operate in the C-bands of the DWDM ITU grid and are available in various output up to 10 dBm.
ALM9XX The ALM935 is a high powered DFB laser, operating in selected wavelengths that comply with ITU standards. Its sibling, the ALM938, is non-wavelength specific, operating around 1550 nm. Both the ALM935 and the ALM938 are extremely suitable for use with external modulators. Housed in our butterfly packages with internal TECs and isolators, their narrow linewidth (< 1 MHz) generates very low noise (RIN) over fiber. Output is rated from 40 mW to 60 mW through polarization maintaining fiber (PMF).
