TLMcroppedTRANSISTOR OUTLINE LASER MODULES
The modules consist of linear 1310 and 1550 nm MQW DFB laser diodes in TO-56 packages. They are intended for customers who prefer to build their own fiber coupled devices. The TLMA3 and TLMA5 are suitable for RF over fiber, CDMA, and CATV return path applications.


PIGTAILED COAXIAL LASER MODULES
PLM 9-12 croppedLower cost alternatives to the ALM3s, the PLMF3 series modules incorporate highly linear MQW DFB lasers emitting at 1310 nm, hermetically sealed in industry standard coaxial packages with single mode fiber pigtails integrated with optical isolators. These lasers are especially suited as cost effective light sources for analog CATV forward path. Similar modules, PLMR3 and PLMR5, that incorporate DFB lasers at 1310 nm and 1550 nm as well as CWDM wavelengths from 1470 nm to 1610 nm are also available for CATV return path. The PLMW3 and PLMW5 series of modules are 1310 nm and 1550 nm DFB lasers, respectively, targeted at the wireless market. They are also housed in industry standard coaxial packages with single mode fiber pigtails integrated with optical isolators.

PIGTAILED PHOTODIODE DIODESPPDA raw 3
The PPDA series modules incorporate highly linear photodiodes sensitive to communications wavelengths ranging between 1100 nm and 1650 nm. The photodiodes are hermetically packaged in  industry standard coaxial packages with single mode fiber pigtails. These modules are especially suited for analog CATV intermediate and long reach applications, as well as higher bandwidth satellite and FTTX networks. PPDD series module is similar but optimized for digital applications.

FABRY PEROT LASERS
The FPMR series multi-quantum well Fabry Perot lasers are most suited to analog applications. Hermetically sealed in industry standard coaxial packages, the FPMRs possess high power output and are capable of operating over wider temperature ranges, making them a cost effective means for CATV Return Path.
